Eligibility:
Any taxpayer who files at any participating National Tax Centers location(s).
How to Enter:
“Prep” for Dubai game also known as the “Scratch Off Card” is given to selected individuals of the general public and non returning clients who have not filed at a National Tax Centers location within the last year. To redeem the prize for this game, the participant must file their taxes at one of National Tax Centers participating locations. Once their taxes have been paid in full, filed and transmitted by the federal or state, the participant is immediately eligible for prize shown on scratch off game. Please note that to receive the combined Free Tax Preparation and Free E-File prize, the participant must purchase the Audit Protection Plan to be eligible for this prize. The Free Tax Preparation and Free E-File prize is only eligible to new customers that have not filed with National Tax Centers within the last year. The participant will need to pay all service fees upfront or through our third party processer from the participant’s tax refund related to the Audit Protection service to redeem prize.
How to Play & Prizes:
To play, scratch off all three “$” (dollar signs) to reveal your prize. If your card contains one “$” (dollar sign), you will receive Free Tax Preparation and E-file (Estimated $400 Value) with the purchase of Audit Protection (up to $99.99). Cost of Audit Protection depends on the participating location. Additional third party fees may apply. If your card contains “$$$” (three dollar signs),you will receive a trip to Dubai for Two. Prize package includes (2) roundtrip flights to Dubai and (1) hotel room during your trip. Trip prize value cannot exceed $3,000 and must be redeemed 1 year from the date prize was awarded or announced whichever is earlier. Therefore, trip will be 3-7 days max based on trip market value at the time of booking. Restrictions, additional terms and conditions may apply.
Prize(s):
The winner(s) of the grand prize of the “Prep” for Dubai game will be presented in the form of a faxed/e-mailed or snail mailed ticket booking confirmation from National Tax Centers, LLC. The maximum amount of this grand prize shall not exceed $3,000.
Odds of winning depend on the number of participants. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win a prize: (a) persons who from and after the first day of the scratch off game were or are employees or agents of Sponsor or Sponsor’s parent, subsidiaries or affiliates or the service agencies or independent contractors of the above organization(s); (b) persons who are engaged in the development, production, distribution of materials, or administers for this giveaway; and (c) persons who are immediate family who reside in the same household as any person in either of the preceding categories.
Each participant agrees to permit the Sponsor to use his/her name, address, city, state, photograph, voice, videotape or any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes for no additional compensation. Sponsor may use information submitted by participant to offer them information on other offers, products or services.
The winner will have to sign and return to Sponsor, in the way and date indicated, a liability release form, and complete a satisfaction questionnaire or written testimonial plus their photo, in order to claim his or her prize. If the winner cannot be reached within the (5) days of being notified or the winner is not eligible, or if the required documents requested by the Sponsor are not submitted, it will be as if the winner has forfeit the prize and the game will be over. Sponsor’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
To claim the prize, the winner will be required to provide identification acceptable to Sponsor. The winner is not permitted to substitute non-cash prizes for their cash equivalent. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any or all of the prizes with any article or service of similar or greater value at its sole discretion. Prizes may not be assigned or transferred by the winner. Prizes also may not be redeemed for its equivalent cash value.
For the name of the prize-winner, available after the giveaway ends, send a separate, self-addressed stamped envelope to “National Tax Centers Scratch Off – List of Winners” to the address National Tax Centers PO Box 4269 Laurel, MS 39441.
To obtain a copy of these Official Rules, mail a separate envelope with prepaid stamps with the heading “National Tax Centers-Rules” to National Tax Centers PO Box 4269 Laurel, MS 39441.
Taxes (federal, state, and local) are the sole responsibility of the winner and the winner may be required to complete tax forms.
These Official Rules are subject to the State laws where the Sponsor is located, ignoring the conflict in laws. The winner has to comply with all applicable state laws related to the possession of the prize.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify or terminate this giveaway if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity of the giveaway as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may disqualify any person whom Sponsor, in its sole discretion, considers to have intentionally violated the Official Rules. By participating, contestants agree: (a) to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, and (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, National Tax Centers, and their affiliates, stations, subsidiaries, and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to acceptance, possession or use (or misuse) of the prizes or participation in the game.
